Ingredients
- 🐟2 fillets white fish (cod, tilapia, or snapper)
- 🌶️1 tsp paprika
- 🧄½ tsp garlic powder
- 🌶️¼ tsp black pepper
- 🧂 salt, to taste
- 🥦300 g fresh green beans, trimmed
- 🫒2 tbsp olive oil
- 🍋1 lemon, half sliced, half for juice
- 🌿2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Pro tips
- Don't overcrowd the grill; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.
- For extra flavor, marinate the fish for 15-20 minutes before grilling.
- A quick squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end brightens all the flavors.
Method
- 1Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel.
- 2In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
- 3Toss the trimmed green beans with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
- 4Lightly brush the grill grates with the remaining olive oil. Place the fish on the grill, along with the green beans.
- 5Grill the fish for 3-5 minutes per side, or until it's opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Grill the green beans for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender-crisp and slightly charred.
- 6Remove the fish and green beans from the grill. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over both, and garnish with fresh parsley.
- 7Serve immediately with lemon slices on the side.
