Ingredients

  • 🐟2 fillets white fish (cod, tilapia, or snapper)
  • 🌶️1 tsp paprika
  • 🧄½ tsp garlic powder
  • 🌶️¼ tsp black pepper
  • 🧂 salt, to taste
  • 🥦300 g fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 🫒2 tbsp olive oil
  • 🍋1 lemon, half sliced, half for juice
  • 🌿2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Pro tips

  • Don't overcrowd the grill; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the fish for 15-20 minutes before grilling.
  • A quick squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end brightens all the flavors.

Method

  1. 1Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. 2In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
  3. 3Toss the trimmed green beans with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  4. 4Lightly brush the grill grates with the remaining olive oil. Place the fish on the grill, along with the green beans.
  5. 5Grill the fish for 3-5 minutes per side, or until it's opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Grill the green beans for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender-crisp and slightly charred.
  6. 6Remove the fish and green beans from the grill. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over both, and garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. 7Serve immediately with lemon slices on the side.
