Ingredients

  • 🌾½ cup rolled oats
  • 🍦1 scoop whey protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 🥛1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 💧½ cup water
  • 🍓¼ cup berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 🌱1 tsp chia seeds
  • 🧂½ tsp cinnamon

Pro tips

  • Ensure the oatmeal has cooled slightly before adding protein powder to prevent clumping and preserve nutrient integrity.
  • Adjust the amount of liquid for your preferred oatmeal consistency; add more milk or water if you like it thinner.
  • Experiment with different toppings like nuts, seeds, or a drizzle of honey for added flavor and texture.

Method

  1. 1Combine rolled oats, milk, water, and cinnamon in a small saucepan.
  2. 2Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low.
  3. 3Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and reached your desired consistency.
  4. 4Remove from heat and let it cool for 1-2 minutes before stirring in the protein powder.
  5. 5Mix well until the protein powder is fully dissolved and there are no lumps.
  6. 6Transfer the oatmeal to a serving bowl.
  7. 7Top with fresh or frozen berries and chia seeds.
