Pro tips

  • Adjust the amount of soy sauce and sugar to your taste preference.
  • For extra spice, add a dash of chili oil or sriracha.
  • A sunny-side up egg with a runny yolk is highly recommended for the best flavor and texture.

Method

  1. 1Cook the instant ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain well and set aside.
  2. 2In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar to create the sauce.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, then crack in the egg and fry until the whites are set and the yolk is still runny.
  4. 4Add the drained noodles to the pan with the fried egg, pour the sauce over everything, and toss gently to coat.
  5. 5Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onion.
